| Michael Klayko Chief Executive Officer Michael Klayko was named Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Brocade Board of Directors in January 2005. As CEO, he is responsible for the company's vision, strategic direction, and operational management. Klayko has more than 30 years of experience in the storage, computer, and telecommunications industries. Previously he was Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Brocade with responsibility for global sales activity and the development of programs designed to increase sales force effectiveness and support key partner relationships. He also served as the Vice President of Marketing and Support and Vice President of OEM Sales. Klayko joined Brocade in January 2003, following the acquisition of Rhapsody Networks for which he served as CEO and President. Prior to working at Rhapsody Networks, Klayko was Executive Vice President at McData, where he managed the company's internal operations and drove business development and marketing strategies. He also held positions at EMC, HP, and IBM after beginning his career at Docutel and TRW. Klayko currently serves on the Boards of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group and The Tech Museum of Innovation. Klayko has a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Ohio Institute of Technology. | |
| Richard Deranleau Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer As Chief Financial Officer, Richard Deranleau has responsibility for the company's financial processes and reporting, as well as global real state and facilities. Deranleau joined Brocade in June 2003, and served as Vice President, Corporate Controller, and Treasurer of Brocade before being named CFO in May 2006. Before joining Brocade, Deranleau served in various executive management positions from 1992 to 2003 for Polycom, Inc., including Vice President of Finance and Treasurer. Prior to Polycom, he held various accounting and finance positions at Tandem Computers and Coopers and Lybrand, LLC. Deranleau is a CPA for the State of California and holds a BS in Economics from Iowa State University and an MBA from San Jose State University. | |
| Daniel Fairfax Vice President, Global Services Dan Fairfax joined Brocade in 2008, as the result of the Company’s acquisition of Foundry Networks. Fairfax joined Foundry Networks in May 2006, and has more than 25 years of senior financial and operations management experience. Prior to joining Foundry Networks, Fairfax served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of GoRemote Internet Communications. He also served as Chief Financial Officer of Ironside Technologies, Inc.; ACTA Technology; and NeoVista Software. Before that, Fairfax held senior financial management and operations positions at Siemens and Spectra-Physics. Fairfax holds a BA in Economics from Whitman College and an MBA from the University of Chicago, and is a Certified Public Accountant in California with an inactive license. | |
| T.J. Grewal Vice President of Corporate Development As Vice President of Corporate Development, T.J. Grewal is responsible for developing and managing strategic Brocade corporate initiatives, including M&A, alliances, key business initiatives, and the Brocade investment portfolio. Before joining Brocade, Grewal worked with McKinsey & Company advising software, semiconductor, and consumer hardware clients as part of the company's High Technology Practice. Prior to joining McKinsey, Grewal was a senior manager in Ernst & Young's technology practice. Grewal holds an MBA from McMaster University and a BA from York University, both in Canada. | |
| Marc Randall Senior Vice President of Products and Offerings As Senior Vice President of Products and Offerings, Marc Randall brings more than 25 years of experience in the networking industry to Brocade. Prior to joining Brocade, Randall spent eight years at Force10 Networks, where he most recently served as CEO. During his five years in that role, Randall guided the company from annual revenues of less than $10 million to more than $150 million. Prior to joining Force10 Networks, Randall spent seven years at Cisco Systems as Vice President of Engineering, where he led the development and extension of Cisco’s high-end routing platforms—a $2 billion annual business. Before Cisco, Marc spent 13 years at Amdahl Corporation in various leadership positions in the company’s mainframe computer division. He holds a BS in Electronics Engineering Technology from DeVry University in Phoenix, Arizona. | |
| Ian Whiting Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing As Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing, Ian Whiting is responsible for all product and services revenue through both direct and indirect sales channels and for the corporate marketing functions of the Company. Whiting’s role is to drive market share gains in all the markets where Brocade competes, build a world-class global sales and marketing organization, and develop strategic long-term relationships with customers and partners. Whiting joined Brocade in 2001, and has served as Vice President of EMEA and Latin America, as well as Vice President Worldwide Sales and Services in addition to Vice President and General Manager for the Brocade Data Center Infrastructure Division. Prior to joining Brocade, Whiting was Director of Compaq StorageWorks in EMEA. Before that he served as Vice President EMEA for NetWorth, and he also held senior management roles at Canadian software company Cognos and specialist networking distributor Data Translation. Whiting has a BS in French and German from the University College Swansea and an MS in European Business Studies from the Cranfield School of Management. | |
| Lisa McGill Vice President of Human Resources Lisa McGill is responsible for leading and driving Brocade’s strategic human resource initiatives globally. Ms. McGill emphasizes an employee centric culture through evolving employee engagement plans and a robust learning and development organization. As a key contributing member of the executive team, Ms. McGill is a true business partner to Brocade’s business leaders, ensuring the company’s targets are achieved and Brocade remains an aggressive market leader. Ms. McGill has nearly twenty years of HR experience with particular expertise in Int’l HR management & compensation. Ms. McGill was the VP of HR at Foundry Networks, which Brocade acquired in December, 2008. Ms. McGill was with Foundry for nearly 8 years and previously held senior HR positions at Alcatel and PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Ms. McGill holds an MBA from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Science degree in business management. | |
| Raymond Lee Vice President of Operations and Information Technology As Vice President of Operations and Information Technology, Raymond Lee is responsible for the company’s global supply chain and IT operations. Supply chain operations include order fulfillment, component sourcing, manufacturing strategy, and logistics. IT operations include technology solution delivery, development, and data center operations. Before joining Brocade in 2001, Lee held various senior leadership positions in IT, operations, professional services delivery, and product management at companies such as Walker Digital, IT Solutions (now known as Keane), and Ingersoll-Rand. Lee holds a BS in Computer Science and Economics from the University of Wisconsin as well as an MS in Computer Science and an MBA in Finance and Operations from Indiana University. | |
| Tyler Wall Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary As Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary, Tyler Wall is responsible for all aspects of the company’s legal department functions, practices, and policies. His executive experience includes a focus on technology licensing and distribution agreements; mergers and acquisitions; financing; commercial transactions and agreements; domestic and international corporate affairs; and public company reporting. Prior to Brocade, Wall served at Chordiant Software, Inc. as Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary. Before that, he worked at Oracle Corporation as Corporate Counsel for the Commercial Licensing and Distribution group in Oracle's Legal department. Wall has a BS in Economics from the University of Utah, a JD from Santa Clara University School of Law, and an MBA from Santa Clara University School of Business. | |
